Family-Style Narrow Table Seating

Glad Martha Stewart's coming around to the best trend to ever hit a wedding reception... family-style narrow table seating.  Whether you are plating food or going buffet, having at least the head table be a long family-style seating arrangement makes the reception feel more intimate and works for either casual or formal weddings.  Outdoor weddings are particularly suited to this choice - plank picnic tables anyone?

Awesome Paper Lantern Alert!

The wonderful folks at Luna Bazaar have an assortment of paper lanterns in every hue for less than two bucks each!  Click around their site for other deals on candle holders for centerpieces and accents... but the lanterns have received an awesome alert for a reason!  They are not just for lighting anymore!  Simply tie a color coordinated ribbon to the top and dangle at the ends of the rows on your aisle for a buoyant, elegant and festive feel!
